Robert Rucker, Oklahoma City, OK
Robert Rucker, affectionately referred to as "The Zell" (as in Zell Miller) sent this picture of his elk hunt and it just goes to show that hunts don't always go as planned. We feel the Zell's pain - we've been stuck in the muck before too.

Taken by Bill Hart of Norman on private land in Garvin County. Used a custom Mauser action 270. Shot at 156 yards on 11/26/2007. Being mounted at Terry's taxidermy, no score yet, but estimate at 145-150. Weighed 170 pounds dressed.
Travis Beams and his son, Reagan, Oklahoma City, OK
Travis Beams and son Reagan, took this buck at the Grunt & Gobble Hunt Club in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He was taken from a box blind during the opening weekend of muzzleloader season. It was 6-year-old, Reagans first experience on a real whitetail weekend hunt. He was banging on his new True Talker Grunt call when this buck came in to take a closer inspection. The buck knocked out a scrape and stood on his hind legs to mark a licking branch before dad lowered the boom. Earlier that morning, Reagan successfully called in a smaller 6 point buck to our stand. After 30 minutes of well timed grunts, he was able to work the buck in a 360 degree circle around our stand and never let him get out of bow range. If you think the little one's aren't learning from watching hunting television shows, you're dead wrong.
JDB Taxidermy (Joe Don Baker), Wakita, Oklahoma
I shot this deer in Wakita Oklahoma on a hunt with World Class Outfitters. This 10 point weighed in at 150 lbs. This hunt took place during the last weekend of ok muzzleloader. This duck hunt took place in Grady County. My buddies dog Dutchess was our retreiver for the day. I am also a taxidermist from Alex Oklahoma. If yall are ever interested in some taxidermy work. God bless.
Perry Faulkner, Oklahoma
This is Perry Faulkner's first mule deer taken on a public land achery hunt in the mountions of South New Mexico on Jan. 5th 2008. The deer had to be packed out almost five miles, so not sure what it weighted, but I was a really heavy for what looked like a small deer. I was glad the deer in that area don't seem to get really big.
Gary Wulffenstein, Hennessy, Oklahoma
This is one of the nicest 6 pt bucks Gary has ever seen. He is 16 inches wide and 15.5 inches tall. This buck was taken south of Lacey, Oklahoma during rifle season. Congrats to Gary - this is an awesome deer and it looks like some tough terrain to hunt.
Some of the Noodlin' Pics
